NOTE: New ALP feature; you can now have your own FREE personal E-mail relay mailbox on the sutodin.net domain such as JohnSmith@autodin.net.

As a registered member (register now if you are not yet registered) of the ACNet Association you are entitled to a FREE relay E-mail address on the ACNet "autodin.net" domain system. Initially, mail sent to your box on the autodin.net domain will be automatically forwarded to another E-mail address of your choice (such as your address on your ISP account). A copy will be retained here as a matter of record for your protection. Your "autodin.net" mailbox will act as a "mail relay". All E-mails addressed to you with attachment(s) will be automatically scanned for viruses before being automatically forwarded to your mailbox of choice. This adds another level of protection against E-mail viruses. Soon, we will be implementing our own stand-alone SMTP and POP3 mail server where you can "pick up" your mail directly from your autodin.net box. For now, select your mailbox name and the current E-mail address you want your @autodin.net mail forwarded to, and send them to the webmaster, or, enter that information into the Guest Book log-in form below. Although NOT mandatory, it is recommended that you use your First and Last name as your autodin.net relay mailbox name, e.g.: JohnSmith@autodin.net . - November 24, 2001

Great site. Was 1LT at Pirmasens 1967 and at Nha Trang 1968 . I visited PhuLam while Army LNO to 1964th ComGp. Branch chief at DISA EUR 1976-80. DISA HQ since then with AUTODIN and now DMS. The only two switches I never saw not counting Willow Grove was Kharat and Augsburg.

I worked Tech Control in Pirmasens from 1975 to 1977. I used to sign off on the orderwire as GLIK Have to say that AUTODIN worked so transparently to the user that DMS writer to reader can not compare. DoD is finding it isnt easy to turn colonels into comm centers.
